Flowing across three floors, the Sail House — situated in a historic Brixham building — offers both incredible views of the picturesque harbour and plentiful natural light. Along with its cool and calming colour scheme, a soothing, breathable feel is maintained throughout. Skilful touches such as the map accent wall in the lounge area, rope mirror, and local art offer nods to the area’s incredible marine history while staying true to the home’s contemporary design.
Guests will find many appliances in the extensively equipped kitchen, and the crisp countertops with stools are just one of several options to enjoy meals. Those preferring to dine al fresco in the Brixham weather can do so in the private wooden courtyard at the property’s rear.
The king-size bedrooms are spacious and classy, reflecting the owners’ enduring commitment to offering guests the most comfortable stay possible. The third floor bedroom’s zip-and-link bed can be arranged as a twin upon request. The en-suite bathrooms have a tasteful tiled monochrome design and walk-in showers; the first floor bathroom also has a sizable bath, and there’s a downstairs W/C for bonus convenience. Smart TVs and superfast mesh WiFi ensure you’ll stay connected and entertained.
Parking on nearby Ranscombe Road and a prime setting on King Street mean you’ll never be more than a few minutes from everything that central Brixham has to offer. Other apartments situated nearby are convenient for multi-family bookings whilst allowing for individual space.

Reviews from previous guests
“I have would no hesitation in highly recommending Sail House. No expense has been spared in developing this property. Everything is of a very high quality and there are so many nice touches. The cottage is also well equipped with quality goods. The town is a short walk away and the property has the advantage of a car parking space a few minutes away. There is an excellent view of the harbour from the lounge and on days when the weather is bad you can watch the world go by quite happily. We immediately felt at home in Sail House and we enjoyed our stay so much we have booked four more visits! Think this shows how much we loved the cottage.
Great accommodation, finished to an excellent standard. Ideal spot overlooking the harbour.
Had a great time staying at the Sail house. Every bedroom had a stylish en suite bathroom. Beds were so comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed too. Cozy living room with views across Brixham harbour that you could never get bored with. Had a lovely welcome package of teabags, biscuits, bottle of wine, milk and toilet rolls. Honestly can’t say enough about our stay here. Thank you! We would definitely go back. 🙂
This was our third stay at Sail House since it was first open for renting back in July 2021. We do feel very much at home in this cottage as it has been renovated to a very high standard. The other added benefits are the short walk into town and the views of the harbour. We have further bookings in 2022.
The Sail House was in a perfect location, to sit and watch the boats in the harbour, which we never got tired of. The house was spotlessly clean and suited our needs perfectly. we stayed as a family, grandparents grandchildren and great- grandchildren. It was so easy with three en suite bathrooms. 5 star rating.
